Hello,
I am so exited about the anticipation of getting much needed supplies for the exceptional education students I serve. I chose this area of education because I wanted to reach children that needed that extra time and attention to prove to themselves that they could succeed. I primarily work with students with special needs that are transitioning from middle to high school, and the students that are transitioning from high school to postsecondary education or to the world of work. Additionally, I work with students to increase their math and reading skills through small group and one on one instruction. Moreover, I always try to come up with interesting and innovative ways to reach the students through hands on projects that relate to real life situations.
