Lockwood Steam Academy is a dual language school set in East Oakland. In this second grade community, there are 24 students in each class who split their day learning in English and in Spanish. We have students who only speak English at home, students who only speak Spanish at home, students who speak both, and students who speak more languages such as Mam or Arabic.
They are hard-working, funny, creative and love to play. They love writing stories, telling jokes and playing with the Lego and Magnatiles they received in past years from ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½!
