Today's young people come to school with lots of BIG feelings and most have no proper way to express them or know how to express them. Through visual arts I will provide students with a calming environment where they will complete numerous projects covering the Missouri Visual Arts Standards. The projects that I will choose will be projects to help students learn to use visual arts as a type of therapy to help them learn to express their BIG feeling and heal within. Our young people are our future. Through the use of visual arts I will teach my students k-12 how to get those feelings out in a proper healing manner.
