I teach a culturally diverse group of 7th and 8th grade culinary arts students. The majority of my students are only with me for one semester so there is a lot of knowledge to share in a little amount of time. I also have an advanced class which is for the entire school year. My students love learning to cook, try new things, and use different tools and equipment. The culinary arts class depends on donations to help with purchasing food and supplies so the students can learn to make homemade items such as cookies, cakes, sauces, pasta, etc. My goal as a Chef and teacher is to broaden my students knowledge about food and how technology also plays a part in the hospitality and culinary world.
