I work with high academic learners in the fourth, fifth and sixth grade and teach the Science lab for general-ed students in a Title I, culturally diverse school in Salt Lake City. These students have a love for learning, but lack the resources and skills to challenge themselves. Their parents want more for their children, but due to language differences, have a difficult time helping them at home. School is a safe environment for them to learn and grow. They aspire to greatness and look to the future and plan for education past high school. Having access to technology develops their thinking skills and builds the road for their success in a world where technology is growing at such a fast pace.
