I teach in a suburb of Detroit. We have approximately 53% of our students who qualify for free and reduced lunch. Our school is a Leader in Me School which helps to develop students who are empowered to be leaders. In my classroom, I work to build an environment that encourages students to love and support each other. We build on each other's strengths to develop confidence in each other. Our learning environment allows students to construct their own meaning through inquiry and project-based learning. In our room, we learn together, laugh together, and love one another!
