Kindergarteners meet as a class several times a day for learning, and a classroom rug will give us a place to do it! A rug large enough for the whole class will give students a centralized meeting location for reading, writing, and math lessons, as well as show-and-tell and daily morning meetings. This is an essential tool for our classroom.
A classroom rug serves as a comfortable spot for students to gather and learn. I have chosen this rug specifically because it reinforces the alphabet, colors, and geography. Meeting at a rug allows students to work cooperatively with one another to work together, make connections and discuss their learning. This rug will be a great meeting space for students for years to come!
