My third grade students are in a third through fifth grade building in a small rural community. They are energetic and excited about reading and taking tests on their books. In third grade our main chunk of homework is focused on reading and responding to reading in a journal. The Nook will provide an extra device for testing on the books that we read each night, as well as provide the students the experience of reading digital text.
