I am a first year teacher at Rice Creek School, located in rural Port Wentworth, Georgia. I have the privilege to teach future scientists, engineers, and dreamers everyday in my mathematics and science classroom. As a teacher at a Title 1 school it is my goal to provide every student with the tools and skills they need for success; however many of my students can not afford basic school supplies or the materials needed for the classroom. Each one of my projects is designed to meet the needs and learning goals of my students. In my classroom the socioeconomic status of my students will never hinder their ability to learn. It is my goal to create a classroom where my students are inspired daily to reach their dreams. They say it takes a village to raise a child, thank you for being a part of that village.
