I teach first grade at a Title 1 school, with the majority (64%) of my students on free/reduced lunch, English Language Learners, and a free after school CARES program which provides a continued sense of community, and even dinner. My students come from all over the world; Algeria, Afghanistan, Egypt, Syria, Uzbekistan, Mexico, El Salvador, England, Kenya, and throughout the United States. It is a culture rich environment for all! As my students would tell you, we love learning about everything, but need the tools to help us be our best. The majority of our technology is at our school! Please help us grow into successful, well educated, civic minded individuals. You can make a real difference in our lives, and we will be forever grateful.
