Flexible seating allows students to choose the best seating option to help them learn with different tools and collaborate with others. My students love to move around the room as they read, write, and explore math concepts.
This project will help me create a dynamic learning environment to meet the unique needs of every child that enters our classroom. Alternative seating options in our classroom will add movement to our learning, increase student engagement, and allow students to take responsibility for their learning. The stools, balance balls, and pillows will stimulate learning and help my students become aware of their specific learning styles. The clipboards provide a surface to write or work on no matter where they are in the room.
