My students are at a STEM school who are encouraged to BYOD (bring your own device). We will be using the 4 iPad minis throughout the day from a listening center so they can have a story read to them, and they will use them in technology center to share their learning and ideas on padlet and poppet. They will use the iPads and Chromebook to answer questions on Kahoot. Students can use these devices to show off their learning in a student created SWAY. A classroom Chromebook would also provide more computers in the room for research, group collaboration and learning purposes. The use of technology is encouraged at our school and with these devices, students will be given the chance to explore and interact with multiple sources of learning. These devices will be utilized throughout the school day in all learning subjects.
