The population of students that I teach are extremely bright but unfortunately they lack a lot of resources both inside and outside of school. Although I work in a Title I elementary school within a low income community, where many resources are not accessible; my students strive to try their best and be the best that they can be given the situations that they are put in. If I could name my students in one word, it would be the word "resilient". My students have the ability to go through change in their lives with positivity and confidence. They come into school everyday ready to take on the day with a smile on their faces. While there are some struggles that may affect their abilities to learn, they manage to be successful learners everyday.
