Graphic novels are accessible to all level of readers. Graphic novels are popular with every student because they are fast paced and have images that reinforce the story and is a preferred choice among reluctant readers. This set of books will provide more choices for these students when they visit the library. With the lower reading level the vocabulary will be less intimidating for new readers who are building their skills. The visual element of graphic novels helps students understand the story as they are reading. As students gain confidence in their reading skills, they will be able to move on to more complex stories in different genres. Your gift will benefit my students and I know they will read the graphic novels over and over again.
