This year, our computer lab is being transformed into a STEM lab! With that change comes a great need for cutting edge technology!
A 3D printer and filament is a way to breathe to life into my student's ideas and bring their virtual creations into the real-world!
This printer will be used to bring student creations to life! As young as 2nd grade, students will learn about the design process using technology such as TinkerCAD to create original designs. As students enter higher grades, they will begin to design solutions to real-world problems and print their solutions in 3D. Giving the students their choice in color filament to print with will help students develop a sense of ownership of their creations.
