I teach 3rd grade Literacy to approximately 45 students. Our classroom is within a Title l, preK-5 public school in Salisbury, Maryland. Our school is located within an urban neighborhood that traditionally consists of dual language, multi-generational families who qualify for free and reduced breakfast and lunch programs. Many of our students have parents that are incarcerated or just not involved in their lives.
We enjoy the process of learning together. The students challenge themselves and support each other respectfully. This is truly an amazing group of young individuals.
