LEGO Mindstorm programmable robots will help my advanced astronomy students use real-world applications to design, program, and control robots to complete a mission. So far, their experiences have been limited to reading, writing, and viewing videos. They want to learn more! What better way to help them than by putting the tools in their hands and letting them simulate NASA teams who can design and control rovers on another planet? LEGO Mindstorm programmable robots can do just that.
