Books are the most important resource in a classroom. Students also need access to books that interest and inspire them. These books and teacher guides will provide students with the skills they need without having to read out of a workbook or worksheet which many find boring and tedious. These are high-interest series that have captured the attention of my students.
Your generous donation will increase the reading capabilities of all my students by building fluency, accuracy, and comprehension.
These materials will be used during small group guided reading and during center rotations. Twice a week we have book club where students take a book home to read and then we discuss it during their lunch time. This small group setting allows for confidence building in my most reluctant reader.
