My students are bright, talented, and all very much their own individual. I teach humanities at a high-performing, Title 1 school in Los Angeles. We serve a population of second-generation families, recent immigrants, and students with special needs through the inclusion model.
Many students have been with the school for 8 years, and some of the families even longer. The reason why they have been with us for so long is because we are of a community of educators and families who challenge the socioeconomic barriers and labels that might try to prevent us from being successful. And sometimes, overcoming those barriers is helped by your donation to my projects. Thank you for your help!
