I teach in a City School with a lot of very motivated and talented students. They are excited to learn and deserve the best. I run integrated classrooms having students use their phones along with sites -Google Classroom and a Class website. I also like to integrate assignments that require the use of the Geogebra application. Sometimes we are able to secure laptops and/or tablets for our classes but sometimes we are not.
The students have shown a lot of excitement around assignments that I have given which ask them to manipulate figures to demonstrate understanding of Geometric principles and concepts. The question of how much I can do for these kids in this regard is somewhat dependent on the resources we have at our school and at our fingertips.
With available applications like Geogebra I really believe that there is so much room for growth in my classroom. I am excited to see where this all goes.
