Being an educator in a low socioeconomic district, teachers face many obstacles in maintaining order and discipline school wide. Students often lack the structure at home needed to become manageable students and social butterflies. Much work goes into molding these students into students with good character. Using positive discipline increases students' desire to behave and follow school norms, resulting in less disruptions in the class and more instruction time.
