My school is a low income, small neighborhood school and is home to nearly five hundred students from all over the world. Our students include special needs children with orthopedic, vision, and other impairments. I am so fortunate that I get to work with every student in the school at least once a week. Throughout the course of each year my students are singing, moving, reading and notating music, composing their own songs or body percussion pieces, improvising, and learning about the signficance of music in history and cultures around the world.
