My school is a Title I school located in a low income rural town. We have approximately 540 students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. We have 65% of students at poverty level, 20% ELL, 30% Hispanic, and 10% Asian. Our school motto is: Achieving, Belonging, and Caring. We are committed to our students and will do whatever is necessary in order to help our students succeed.
In order to meet 21st century goals, my students need more exposure to technology. My 19 kindergarten students consist of 9 nine boys and 10 girls. The only exposure to computers for them are when they go to computer class twice a week for 20 minutes.
