I have the best job in the world....teaching Kindergarten! I get to work with fun and imaginative five year old girls and boys. Every day is a different day in Kindergarten. We start out the year learning everyones' name and practicing our life skills. We build our school community of caring individuals by learning to use words to express his or her feelings and ideas. As the year progresses, my class will begin to learn about letters and sounds and how to build sentences. We also begin to explore the sciences, such as matter, living and non-living things and plants, to name a few. My students are also awesome builders. They work well together to build structures using different materials. Please consider donating to fund my project so my students could continue their inquisitive nature to explore and use various materials to test and use when designing their structures.
