We Love to Learn!
I am an integration specialist at a high need, Title One school in Oklahoma. Being an integration specialist gives me an amazing opportunity to go into every classroom in the building to work with all of our students and teachers. Our school is part of the Community School Initiative in our city. Being a community school, we not only are there to educate the students, but we are a resource to the community around us as well. Many of our students come from impoverished homes and our job as a school is not just to educate them, but to make sure their basic human needs are met, such as food, clothing, and shelter. Many of our resources and efforts are spent on making sure each student is fed and has proper school supplies and materials.
