I teach English 9 at Washington High School . Teachers here strive to create a positive working environment and move students to accomplish more than they thought possible. Our student demographic tends to be more at-risk than students in wealthier neighborhoods; however, lack of resources doesn't stop our students from overcoming adversity and stepping up to the challenge of learning.
