My students are aspiring young readers. During the past year, we have been remote. While students have access to numerous virtual resources, my students need a functioning class library so that they can access and engage with reading level appropriate books that help them grow into young readers.
My students are passionate about reading, but many of them lack the resources that they need to grow as readers. A leveled classroom library will provide my students with the resources that they need to become independent readers. Additionally, comfortable seating options will allow students to be prepared and engaged for story time.
As a new teacher, I do not have a functioning class library. My students need these resources to help them grow and thrive. A leveled classroom library will give my students access to materials, the confidence to independently engage with books, and a variety of titles that are sure to interest every student.
