My school is truly unique. We are an 85% low income urban high school that has drawn students from all over the city. In doing so, we have become one of the most diverse schools as well and are pleased with the opportunities that we have offered students as our school and student population has grown. The teachers and administrators at my school believe that all students deserve a strong education. Therefore, we look to embed in our students the skills that they will need to be successful in high school, college, and as working citizens. We scaffold skills throughout students' four years to make sure they are challenged to develop problem solving and critical thinking skills. As with all schools, we need the technology and resources that are required to help student achieve their goals through education.
