My students are elementary students in a public school in South Carolina. We have about 400 students in our school, and students visit the library once a week. My students are a diverse group and come from a variety of race, ethnicity, demographics, socioeconomic status, and academic ability. However, despite their differences, they are eager to learn and work hard to "grow dendrites" on a daily basis.
