My students love math. The problem is we have little to no classroom manipulatives. Most of the time, it is the teacher in the front of the class showing the students how to learn. I want the students to have an opportunity to have their own manipulatives so they can learn and explore. Having math manipulatives will open a new world to my students.
With the lack of materials, the groups are too big and someone is always left out.
We will be using the various manipulatives to help us with number sense, measuring, identifying shapes, and other exciting math concepts tied to the standards.
