Students sharpen their learning and debating skills through small group discussion in our classroom on a daily basis. They begin by charting their ideas on paper and whiteboards, deciding together what is important and how to present their claims. Groups debate current issues, looking at both scientific strategies as well as predicted outcomes.
The tools in this Ðǿմ«Ã½.org project are selected to help students run groups more efficiently.
Students use whiteboards to generate ideas, chart paper to show their work and create diagrams filled with evidence to support their claims. They work in stages to question, research, present and debate.
