The students and staff at PE and Jr/Sr High Schools are looking to purchase 2 therapy dogs for our learners. We are in need of supplies for our dogs such as: food, beds, grooming tools, treats and toys. Not only are we looking at these items but also services that the dog will need. These include but are not limited to: veterinarian services and groomers who would be willing to care for our dogs when it is needed.
Out of all the items we need for the dogs, we need the money to purchase them most of all. We are in need of $5,000 to get 2 trained dogs to help with our learners. I cannot express how valuable these dogs would be for our students. They provide tranquility to students who have anxiety, respite for those in need, and safety for those who like to wander. If you are able to donate, please contact Lynn Daguanno at the Jr/Sr. High School at 608-879-2994 x 5106
