I have the privilege of teaching a multi-intensive special education class. My students are not your typical middle schoolers. Each day they come to school bubbling over with enthusiasm and so happy to be in a safe, welcoming environment. The world outside our classroom can be difficult for kids who struggle with multiple disabilities. We work on life skills as well as academics. My goal is to prepare them to care for themselves and help them to live happy, productive lives.
