Flexible Seating options allow students to feel more comfortable while working. Students are able to choose how they want to work from day to day and from moment to moment. This empowers students by giving them a choice in their learning environment. The wiggling, bouncing, and wobbling movements allows for more oxygen to reach the brain and increased blood flow. This helps students become more alert and focused. The different types of flexible seating also stimulates student’s sense of touch and can be very beneficial for students with ADD, ADHD, and ASD. This project will allow me to provide more options to help my students find what flexible seating choice works best for them!
