Chappell Elementary is a small school located in an urban district, with 75% low income population. Throughout our school we have over 20 languages spoken, with 72% of our students being English language learners. We celebrate ethnic diversity in our school and classroom, welcoming everyone with open arms. In my 4th grade classroom of 30 students, I encourage a love for learning and growing not only academically, but also socially and emotionally.
