The holiday season is known to be both exciting and stressful. Many of my students will spend their first holiday season away from their home country and loved ones, and in some cases, many of them would feel lonely and sad. Because this is the season of love, please help us bring them some joy and happiness. A holiday gift bag from school represents that a) we think of them, b) we care about them, and c) we wish them well. A holiday card will allow me to personalize this gift and make sure every student feels special and recognized. Overall, this holiday gift will shine a light during the most amazing days of the year. With these holiday gifts, my students will bring home a tangible piece of our school community along with our most sincere wishes for harmony, peace, and love. My students will be reminded of the importance of family and community, and our school values of perseverance, expression, service, and ownership will be an integral part of this gift. Not only will they play UNO and Connect 4 while they eat snacks, but they will think of school and be reminded of the wonderful UNO and Connect 4 battles we have during lunch and after school. We will build community and celebrate the holiday season both in school and at home.
