On this class trip, students are going to be able to experience various obstacles at the Warrior Factory. The Warrior Factory gym is popularized by the hit TV show, "American Ninja Warrior." Not only will students be physically active, but also develop their social-emotional skills.
The goal of this trip is for students to build mental and physical strength through various challenges and obstacles.
Students will be encouraged to make connections between the obstacles at the Warrior Factory and any obstacles they may face at home, in school, with friends, or their community. We want students to be able to communicate challenges they face, identify strategies and coping skills, practice and build physical strength, and then overcome actual Ninja Warrior obstacles. All of the activities students participate in contribute to the three major Physical Education New York State Standards.
1) Personal Health and Fitness
2) Safe and Healthy Environment
3) Resource Management
