In Turner Classroom #1 we serve students with various challenges, however all of them are AMAZING. Our students face communication, behavior, sensory, cognitive, and physical challenges daily. Many of our students are non-verbal students with Autism and other challenges, which require us to differentiate instruction.
Although our students may struggle in some areas, it is glaringly apparent that they shine in a multitude of other ways.
Every kiddo in our class has their own unique learning style, and using certain technologies and varying teaching methods provide them with opportunities to learn new things in ways that suit them best.
Not a single day goes by that we don't celebrate student successes, big or small, as they are all important and worthy of celebration.
