Who is Teacher Jones? A compassionate, no nonsense, queen of hugs and love, 4th Grade Language Arts & Reading teacher at the wonderful Askew Elementary! My All Stars are loving, inquisitive 4th graders who face opposition; most of my babies are 95% economically disadvantaged. Many do not own books nor technology at home, and they are one to three grade levels behind academically . . . BUT, they WANT to learn!
With this awareness, my projects aim to foster change in the lives of my All Stars. Your donations afford us the opportunity to soar academically within the classroom and outside of it. My projects are always created with the intent of allowing ALL of my students to connect to our content and the world via technology and hands on experiences. My projects ensure that my students are equipped with the necessary classroom materials and opportunities that drive our instruction and academic progress.
