My kids love to get messy in STEM Lab. I teach every child in the building, from kindergarten through 8th grade! The majority of our scholars come from low-income households, many living with the reality of homelessness, so they lack experience with nature that we might take for granted. Through hands-on science experiments and investigations, I have watched my scholars grow from children more-or-less aware of the natural world around them to budding scientists, able to connect what we've learned in the classroom to what they observe in their everyday lives.
