The Bruin Theatre Alliance and Gifted and Talented Theatre program at our high school is approaching ten years together, ten years of exploring, learning, building, and creating with each other! We have brought engaging and challenging theatre back to our school! The theatre students are weekly creating scenes, performances, and technical designs. They take on various roles: directors-casting their own performances, stage managers, (light, sound, and set) designers, props manager, costume (hair-makeup) designers, and actors; enabling them to identify with different jobs that are offered in the theater world. Regardless of their differences, the theatre students have discovered their similarities: collaboration, perseverance, teamwork, dedication, and talent. We often struggle to find funds for everyday supplies. Please help our students excel!
