I am in need of new materials for my younger students. Puzzles are a great material to hit all of their speech goals! I work with three year olds, three PreK classes and a special needs Prek Class (PPCD). My students love puzzles and they make for great hands-on learning. I can use the pictures on the puzzle pieces to work on articulation, language, basic vocabulary, colors, counting and requesting. My students' goals are very broad and I am able to use lots of different types of toys or materials in my classroom when working on their individualized education plans (IEP).
