Firstly, I teach Secondary ELL English Language Arts. Since I am in the ELL department of my school my students come from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds. About 99% of my students are Spanish speaking. I have students from Guatemala, Honduras, The Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico to name a few. They are a lively bunch and flourish when they work in groups. My students are hard workers and are determined to perfect their skills in the English language. They truly know what hard work is because they come from working families.
Lastly, while the school provides many supplies there are certain resources donors (like you!) could help with. These students are our next generation and it is important that we fuel their learning and keep pushing them forward.
