I teach Second grade in an urban school with a very high poverty rate. My class consists of general education students. Last year I taught Kindergarten and I really liked it. My students come to school every day with a smile ready to learn something new. Which also makes me start my day with a smile. I want to be able to meet the needs of all my students through interactive learning, technology, and educational tools that encourage exploration. I do not want them to miss out on learning experiences because they attend an urban school that has budget issues.
