As Albus Dumbledore said, "words are our most inexhaustible source of magic." We know that students become better readers by reading more, so it is essential that my students have access to books that they care about. This project will expand my classroom library and vary the texts that students can read in the classroom.
Because of this project, my students will be able to choose books that they are interested in, which will create more joy in reading. In choosing these texts, I am looking to fill gaps in my current classroom library, update with books that have been recently released, and engage the unique individuals that I teach. Many of these texts are requests from my students themselves!
