Our school is Title I with all students receiving nutritional assistance due to poverty levels in the area. We have a large percentage of Hispanic and Arabic students in need of additional support in English. They are lively, kind and eager to learn. Our school has a wonderful community culture. I am a fourth year first grade teacher. Our school, as well as most, are low on funding so many teachers must purchase the extras to provide the best experiences for our students. We appreciate all the love and support that these donations provide. I am so excited to receive such generosity from the community. Our families are appreciative and it is nice to know that every penny is going to help our students grow and become successful life long learners. Our school may not have all the best supplies but it has determination, dedication, caring teachers, family involvement and you.
