My students live in a very diverse neighborhood in Boston. We greet each other every day with hugs and high-fives. Their eyes light up when they enter the classroom, as it is filled with colorful energy, materials they love to learn and play with, and of course- their friends!
In our classroom, we teach children aged 3-5 with and without special rights. These kids need hands-on, exciting, and innovative ways to access the curriculum. We give our students as many authentic learning experiences as possible in different learning centers. We embed lots of alphabet, vocabulary, storytelling, and social skills into play. We refresh their options continuously so they stay interested and engaged.
