My students attend a trades and technical high school. I teach two ninth grade English classes and two ninth grade English Honors classes. I also teach English to one class of twelfth grade aspiring auto mechanics. My students are eager to use cutting edge technology. We have a Smart Board, but our classroom computer is so old that it takes more than 30 minutes to boot up. It locks up if I attempt to use several applications. My school population is diverse. More than 90 percent of my students are eligible for free lunch.
