Discovery Polytech Early College High School is a STEAM-focused public school made up of over 90% students of color from Springfield, MA, officially part of the High School of Commerce. We are a wall-to-wall early college high school where our students take college classes at local colleges as early as freshman year with the goal of earning significant progress to an associate or bachelor's degree by the time they graduate high school. The majority of our students will be the first in their families to attend college and our school helps to ensure they have the academic and personal skills they need in order to be successful in their post-secondary paths and careers. Over 75% of our students qualify for free-or-reduced price lunch. Our robotics students make up over 10% of our student population and are representative of our school's demographics overall.
