My students are in a school in Texas where people usually think my students have everything they need. This isn't true when it comes to science. Connecting real life to science is a challenge my students face everyday. They don't understand why they need to know what I am teaching because they do not see the connection to everyday life. They work extremely hard in class but they need to be able to see that science happens every day all over the world.
